The Guardian, has posted
news that Springer Science and Business Media, one of the world's largest publishers of scientific and technical literature, has been put up for sale by the owners, the private-equity companies of Candover and Cinven. Springer publishes 60 imprints worldwide.
Wonder what the impact on library budgets will be.
