American Chemical Society announces new Open Access option

The American Chemical Society has just announced the availability of a fee-based option for authors wishing to make their articles freely available (“open access”) on the Web immediately upon publication. Called “ACS Author Choice”, the program provides authors with the ability to post their ACS papers on their own web pages or deposit them in institutional repositories.
